Report by the Attorney General.

The form of Squatters Lease adopted by the Board was not submitted to me before a large number of the leases had been filled up and used and as it has been issued, it would be very difficult to alter the form now in such cases.

I myself, raised the query in my minutes of 14th June, 1893, and 15th June, 1893, of C.S.O. 1999 annexed when the form of Lease was submitted to me. I think the best course would be to authorise a continuance of the present practice. It is true the Ordinance requires quarterly payments.
